LSA Middle School Varsity won the Lutheran Middle School State Tournament this weekend. We are very proud of AVA players Avery & Sydney Byas (AVA 13 travel). Avery had a great tournament at outside hitter and Syd led the team as setter. LSA Middle School defeated Prince of Peace from Carrolton who had won state the last 4 years to make it to the championship game. They played the host school, Salem, in the finals 23-25, 25-23, 25-19 to win state.

Junior High Update: Congratulations to Avery Toomes (14 Travel) and her Junior High team as they won the Lutheran South Academy Tournament on Saturday. Avery was named MVP of the tournament. Way to work!!
Junior High Update: Nice job to Kinsy Haschke and Kennedy Adams (14 Travel) who contributed to Barbers Hill Junior High team when capturing the 8A Championship and Allie Warren and Jillian White (14 Travel) helped Friendswood Junior High capture the 8B Championship. Both teams and many other AVA players participated at the Deer Park ISD Junior High Tournament on Friday and Saturday. Congratulations to all players. Go AVA!!
