AVAtor May Sand Sessions - REGISTER TODAY


AVAtors is excited to start up all NEW Sand Sessions for girls and boys 4th-6th grade! Players will learn fundamental skills and team concepts. Come out and develop your skills in the sand! Players may sign up for 1 or all sessions. Space is limited so sign up today!


Ages: Volley Youth- 4th grade

Volley Juniors- 5th and 6th grade

When: Saturday’s in May- (11th, 18th, 25th)- 10am-11:30am                                        

Cost: $25/ session if registered online and $30 for all walk-in sign ups.

AVA 13Power visits The Paint Pub To Create Works of Art



AVA 13Power visited The Paint Pub in Nassau Bay to share their talents and time together as a team. As they prepare for Kentucky this was an important event. They are playing great and they each embrace being in the battle together as a UNIT. Nice job Coach Tracy & Coach Christabell. Parents... great support of the team as well. We all know it takes help from all of us!

AVA 18Rox Boys captured 2nd Place at Junior Regionals.

AVA 18Rox Boys captured 2nd Place at Junior Regionals. They fell just short in the Championship Match to Tejas in 3... 15-13. Our AVA 18Rox boys have either Won or placed 2nd in their last 4 tournaments... WOW 

Next stop with be Lone Star Qualifier in April!

AVAtor Samantha Page submits the Best Art Project EVER!!




AVAtor Samantha Page is a very special 11 year old.  She loves the sport of volleyball so much that she made this awesome art project.   She is learning the fundamentals at our AVAtor Camps and plans continue improving.

In school Samantha tells all of her friends about how much she loves to play volleyball and especially being a proud AVAtor.

AVA Sand Volleyball Programs - Register Today

 


Sand Volleyball Clinic:
3 hour sand volleyball clinic for players who are new to the sport. Instruction will include beach volleyball basics, ball control drills and conditioning. Just enough to get you on the right path before our leagues and competitive training start. **Boys are welcome to join!
 
Juniors Sand Training:
Monday and Wednesday 4-6pm Co-Ed Welcome. An 8 week program for players wanting to build a solid foundation in sand volleyball fundamental or advanced skills. Practices are twice a week and include doubles’ instruction, game strategy, ball control and conditioning. Players will be grouped by skill and experience. Sign up individually or with a partner. We will provide you with a list of tournaments to choose from; tournament play is optional. All players will receive an AVA beach volleyball uniform for practices and/or tournaments, a beach volleyball and towel. Up to two weather days are non-refundable.

Alyssa Enneking, 5-10 OH, Clear Falls (Texas) – An intense player and extreme terminator, Enneking led the Knights to a 34-10 mark in 2012 and to the 5A regional final by slamming home 642 kills (4.7 per match) and contributing 504 digs. Enneking was named All-State by the Texas Coaches Association, the only sophomore so named in 5A; and First Team All-Chron by the Houston Chronicle.

Elite Honorable Mention

Cassidy Nussman, 6-4 MB, Pearland (Texas) – First Team All-District, District Newcomer of the Year and Honorable Mention Texas Newcomer of the Year by LoneStarVolleyball.com, Nussman anchored Pearland to a 41-6 overall record in 2012, recording 203 kills and 95 solo blocks. She is regarded as one of the top MB/RS recruits for the 2015 class in the state of Texas..

Special Mention

Bailee Berringer, 5-3 S, Dickinson (Texas) – A pin-point accurate setter, Berringer finished the 2012 season with 877 assists. Adding 270 digs, 93 kills, and 42 aces, Berringer was named First Team All-District and Second Team All-County.

SCVA Qualifier Vegas Day2

SCVA Day2 - 18Rox 2-1 Gold Bracket Day3, 17Rox looks to bounce back Day3 and get back in the win column, 16Rox were in a 3 way tie in their pool but came up just short in their 1 game playoff match, 15Rox went 1-2 today. We are looking forward to SCVA Day3 and are extremely proud of all players!!

AVA 18Rox Boys - We Believe!!


AVA Co-Directors Katy Garza and Jerry Linch had a vision some years ago to bring Boys Volleyball to AVA! We have arrived!! Our 18Rox Boys have pinned Top Three finishes in as many tournament appearances. Good work young men!

Very Proud of my boys this last weekend. We took it to them and never let up. Words that I stress to them is that "big players make big plays at big times" This is the first stop on the road to nationals.
